Responsible Gambling
Responsible Gambling
This site exists to explain a casino referral offer. It would be dishonest to do that without also being clear about what gambling costs and where to get help for free.
Rakeback does not make gambling profitable
This is the most important thing on this page, and it directly contradicts how most sites in this niche present the offer we cover.
Every casino game has a built-in house edge — the share of each wager the operator expects to keep over time. Rakeback returns a portion of that edge. Even a generous rate only narrows it: halve a 4% house edge and you are still playing into a 2% edge. That is a genuine improvement, and it is still a negative number. Wager for long enough and the mathematics does not care how good your rate is: you lose.
Rakeback makes a losing activity lose more slowly. It does not turn it into a winning one, and any page implying otherwise is selling you something. Treat rewards as a discount on entertainment you had already decided to pay for, never as earnings and never as a reason to wager more than you planned.
Set limits before you deposit, not after
Limits set while you are calm work. Limits set while you are chasing a loss do not. Before your first deposit, decide two numbers and write them down: what you are willing to lose this month, and how long a single session lasts.
- Deposit limits. Cap what can enter the account over a day, week or month. This is the single most effective tool because it acts before the money is at risk.
- Loss limits. Stop play once net losses reach a set figure in a period.
- Session reminders. A clock on screen counteracts how quickly time disappears during fast-round games.
- Cooling-off periods. A short lock — often 24 hours to a few weeks — that cannot be reversed early.
- Self-exclusion. A long-term or permanent account closure. On most platforms this cannot be undone on request, which is the point.
Availability of each tool varies by operator and region. On Thrill.com, look under account settings or ask live support directly what is available on your account. A casino that makes limit tools hard to find is telling you something.
Warning signs
Any of these on their own is worth paying attention to. Several together means it is time to talk to one of the organisations below.
- Gambling with money set aside for rent, bills, food or debt repayments.
- Increasing stake sizes to feel the same level of interest.
- Chasing a loss with a larger bet to get back to even.
- Lying to people close to you about how much you have played or lost.
- Borrowing money, selling possessions or moving credit to keep playing.
- Feeling restless, irritable or low when you try to cut down or stop.
- Playing to escape stress, anxiety or low mood rather than for entertainment.
- Returning to play the day after a loss specifically to recover it.
Where to get free, independent help
None of these organisations is connected to Thrill.com or to this site. They are free, confidential, and they do not require you to have hit a crisis point before getting in touch.

- GamCare UK — Treatment, counselling and self-exclusion support.
- National Council on Problem Gambling US — 24/7 helpline on 1-800-GAMBLER, plus state-by-state resources.
- Gambling Therapy International — Multilingual online support for players outside the UK and US.
- Gamblers Anonymous International — Peer support meetings, in person and online.
Protecting people under 18
Gambling is restricted to adults everywhere it is legal, and 18 is the floor rather than the standard — some jurisdictions set it higher. If children use a device you gamble on, do not save passwords, and consider blocking software such as Gamban, BetBlocker or Net Nanny. BetBlocker is free.
Check it is legal where you live
Online gambling with cryptocurrency is restricted or prohibited in many jurisdictions. Using a VPN to bypass a block breaches the terms of essentially every operator and is normally enforced at withdrawal — meaning the account is closed and the balance withheld at the exact point the money matters. Confirm your local law before you register.
